YELLOWFIELDS
Yellowfields is a curated project built for emerging womxn artists and art professionals. Three thematic projects groups were formed connecting artist research; ‘Overburden’ looked at how we understand landscapes , ‘Production Production’, explored labour and maintenance and ‘Intuitive Geometries’, delved into sculpture made by women. Each project formed a publication designed by Conway and Young and an event supported by three contemporary galleries. The publication features a commissioned text by each artists and an essay by invited topic specialists.
Projects at Spike Island
Spike Island is an international contemporary gallery based in Bristol, UK. As Assistant Curator, Georgia worked across the exhibitions, events and education programme (2016-19). Her work included Project Space exhibitions by artists Harriet Bowman and Andrew Mania.
